What is a one-time C&P evaluation?
It is an examination performed to document relevant clinical findings for the disability-benefits evaluation process. It is not an ongoing treatment relationship, and the final benefits determination is not made by the examining optometrist.
Will I bill insurance or prescribe medication?
No. The opportunity described here is evaluation-based and does not involve insurance billing or prescribing medication as part of the assignment.
Are opportunities available in every state?
Needs vary by program, location and timing. Submit your résumé and licensed states so the recruitment team can assess current or upcoming alignment.
Does submitting a résumé guarantee an assignment?
No. It expresses interest only. Any opportunity is subject to program demand, qualifications, credentialing, applicable agreements and final approval.
What should I include in my email?
Attach your résumé and include your state license or licenses, preferred locations, general availability and any prior evaluation or veteran-health experience.
